FAIL attempt to meet Jessica Lowndes again

I went out earlier and came home at 5 & decided to check my Twitter to see whats new... Apparently Lady Gaga's JUDAS video is releasing in a few hours? Then I scrolled down further to see this tweet

I freaked out and I was like OMG she's either on her way to Slough or she's already came and left to go somewhere else. So I got on the phone to Sarah Winterman and got her to find out where she's coming from, Jess she tweeted earlier she's going to Bristol. So we assumed she's coming back from Bristol and her train is leaving at 4:02 to Slough. & then she found out that a train from Bristol to Slough takes 1h 30- so she'll arrive at Slough at 5.30. But then she tweeted that she arrived in Bristol at 5.27 and that she took the 4:02 train to Slough from London Paddington.

:(

... Well that was a crazy half an hour.

KATY PERRY- Wembley Arena

Hey guys! Yesterday- 9\4\11 I went to see Katy Perry in concert for her California Dreams Tour at Wembley Arena. Me & a few friends are mad Katy fans (I’ve seen her three times now) and we were determined to get front row. So we knew about this deal Katy was doing called “The Front Row Deal” which is the first 100 people to check in to the venue on Facebook get early entry.
So we got there at about 9am and started queuing in the sun and made posters for Katy & Yelle (the support act). Then at about 3pm we got a call from one of our friends that the drummer from Yelle just came out, so we went over because we wanted to meet Julie (the lead singer) and a few minutes later she came out and took pix/ signed and was talking to us for about 10 mins!

My pic with Julie:

Then we went back to the standing queue and waited anxiously for another few hours. Then they let us in and Yelle opened the show. While Yelle were performing she recognised us going crazy in the front and she winked @ me! & pointed at me later on in her performance. :D
Her performance:

DJ Skeet Skeet was the second opening act and were AMAZING! He got us so hyped up over Katy.

THEN IT WAS TIME FOR KATY! Katy’s opening was so amazing. While she was singing ET she looked at me and pointed a few times and smiled at me- because she recognised the point of the random blue box on my face. & later on in the show she covered " I wanna dance with somebody" by Whitney Houston and she asked a few people to come on stage with her. Then she walked in my direction and then she looked at me & shouted "you! come on stage! yes you!" & then a body guard picked me up and pulled me over the standing barrier. & I walked down as they were leading me to the stage.
I went through some curtains and I saw the stairs that lead to the stage! I literally ran up them and went crazy! Katy was hugging some other fan when I got on- at the side of the stage. So I was there jumping around & she grabbed my hand and we ran to the centre of the stage and in front everyone, even her dancers! She kept hold of my hand while she was finishing off the song & I was just looking into the audience like OMG I'm standing in front of 11, 000 people with Katy fucking Perry in Wembley. & I was on the screens! Everyone was looking @ us & I loved it! I'm surprised I didn't get scared to go up there but I was amazed by every second of it & it wasn't scary at all! Then she did a group hug with all the other people on stage and her dancer showed me the way off stage. & the security lead me back to the audience.
I couldn't get back to where I was standing so I had to wait until Firework & California Gurls finished. After the finale people started to leave and could get back to my place to pick up my stuff. On the way out we were looking at the tour merch and random girls were asking for pictures with me & were asking me what It was like up there haha. But also got quite a lot of evils too haha.
I haven't seen any videos up of me on stage yet, but I am checking youtube every few hours and you will all know If I find a video :)
Here are some of the pix my friend took of me on stage:

Window Displays

For my AS Photography exam I am looking at shop windows and recreating my own with a live model.
This shoot should take place this week with the Chemical Flash team. I went to London last week to do some research on different window displays to get some inspiration on what i'm doing for mine.

The art of witchcraft

This is the first shoot for the Chemical Flash blog. We chose to do this as we wanted to start of the blog with a bang and build up an audience instantly that appreciates what we do.
The photo shoot below is inspired by witch craft, and we wanted it to be shockingly beautiful.

On the morning of the shoot we went to our college library, and asked the librarian if they had any books on witch craft and spells- his reaction was actually quite funny. He only had one book but it wasn't as useful as we hoped but still was good because we did get some inspiration on lighting and camera angles.

I am glad we did something people weren't expecting, and we hope to continue surprising you in the future!

CHEMICAL FLASH - THE MAGIC THREE

Hello! I and two other creative geniuses that go to my college have started up a blog recently.

The idea came to mind when I did a photo shoot with my friend "Pepper" (the model in the joker shoot shown below). The photo's came out so good I just knew that she would be perfect to work with more often especially as she has a past of modelling in her childhood.

We then progressed on to doing another photo shoot that was needed for my photography coursework- which was in a studio. I don't want to get in to too much detail of this shoot now as I do plan to share some photos from the shoot with you guys soon, but something I did notice is that pepper had to do her hair and make - up by herself which was very time consuming and was difficult to do in the time restraints we had which was when we knew we had to bring one more person into this.

Yin Shen / Tony is another student at my college that used to work as a make - up artist and was a model himself in Hong Kong, we found ourselves very lucky to come across such a professional  to work with and was very excited about doing our first shoot. But unfortunately as we are AS students we had our January exams coming up so we paused the photo shoots until after, otherwise we would just be thinking about ways we could improve our shoots throughout our exams. So to keep focussed we didn't talk much of it until all our exams finished & then with all the anticipation built up we had the drive to create something extraordinary and that's what we did.

After meeting up several times and discussing ideas, we decided to go with the name  'Chemical Flash' as the chemical relates to all the experimental shoots we intend to do, and flash relates to my camera flash. We even planned on making a series of YouTube videos for each shoot, and we even took a video for our first chemical flash shoot but none of us had the right equipment to produce it at a good quality, but we do still want to make behind the scenes and on set videos from photo shoots- we'll see how it goes...

I know I've mentioned several shoots that have been done that I haven't uploaded onto my blog yet, but I shall do so soon but for now thanks for the support on all of our blogs!

Eyelashes

On Friday 12th November 2010 a make up artist came into my AS photography class to teach some of the girls how to do make up on models- and more importantly so the photographers could take photo's of the girls for the make- up artist's portfolio. After the make-up was done we went down to the studio and I took photographs of her mainly focussing on her eyes.

The Australian artist has mostly worked in theatre but has also working for the BBC on shows such as Doctor Who.
